The answer all depends on your ability and strength and how far you actually need it to stretch for your personal level. Please click on the attached link below to show how it's used and you can make your decision on if you think you have enough space. The video goes over everything you need to know about it and in regards to spacial information, you can fast forward to 3:26 to get to the point! We think you'll want to have more than 8 feet distance available from the anchor point, but again, you'll have to be the judge. The anchor points are at ankle, hip and eye levels.
As far as your ceiling height (and again depending on how tall you are), you probably want 10 foot ceilings to be safe.
